香港电影的“喜剧之王”周星驰在《百变星君》里面照搬了这段文森与美亚的扭腰舞！ “猫王”的主题餐馆里面，两个迷失的人之间，一些说不清、道不明、但真正触动内心的东西会在不经意间打动你的心灵，暗淡的背景、明亮的舞台、轻松的音乐、一段精彩绝伦的舞蹈、一种洒脱中带点颓废的情调、一副令人无法忘怀的俗世风暴。就连女主角乌玛·瑟曼也一改以往金发美女的形象，而变为受古埃及灵感启发的黑色直发，深色口红，近乎于黑色的指甲油，还有那件线条简单的AgnesB衬衫，不变的是她一贯的冰冷气质，来自田纳西州的早期黑人摇滚乐的明星 Chuck Berry的一首《You never can tell》用得恰到好处。
