一个只有 saw没有console 的录音--(参考)
Randy Dorman, a long time player and now producer asked me to track a week long session in Nashville this last week. The talent was a up and coming singer / songwriter who's voice is somewhere between Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen.
Randy Dorman , 一个老牌乐手, 现为制作人上星期邀请我到 nashville 为一个新进作曲兼歌手作为期一星期的录音, 他的声音类似 Bon Jovi 和 Bruce Springsteen。
The session was totally in the box. 过程全在盒子里(电脑)做的。
The computer was P4 ASUS P4P800 fully loaded with ram. 电脑为P4 ASUS P4P800 ,载满内存。
The interface was a RME Digiface with 3 Behringer ADA8000
.
There was no Console Just SAW Studio. 没有console, 只有sawstudio。
24 inputs with 6 stereo independent headphone mixes while recording 18 channels and doing punchins real time.
24个stereo输入+6 个 stereo 独立耳机, 录 18个通道 兼即时插入录音。
The Latency was set at 2/64 input and 4/64 output.
缓冲设置为input 2x64 和 output4x64
The session went very good with only the drummer complaining at frist about the latency. ( he still did a great job )
过程非常满意, 唯一起初鼓手有点投诉延迟问题 (但他仍然表演得很好)
I plan to use my Fireface @ 2/48 next time to see if the drummer still can feel it.
我准备下次用fireface将缓冲调为 2x48, 看他是否仍会投诉。

在以上錄音的情況下, 每個 ADA8000 本身有 8個 PREAMP+PHANTOM POWER MIC IN/有8個模擬輸出 和 SPDIF/ADAT I/O, 最簡單應該是 ADA8000 的 ADAT 輸出 接到聲卡的 ADAT 輸入, 這樣一個 ADAT 接口已可傳送 8 軌24/48的 MONO 訊號。

還找來:
Make sure the DigiFace is set as master and set the Behringers to ADAT slave position... a small switch on the back of each unit.
DIGIFACE 要設為 master, ADA8K 設為 SLAVE
The master setting is done in the popup Hammerfall driver dialog (from the taskbar).
