据 RME 声卡厂家说,他们正准备给声卡驱动加上 GSIF 2 。大家知道,GSIF 2 提供了输入口,也就是说已经和 ASIO 是一个概念了。而声卡厂家说 GSIF 2 更稳定,比 ASIO 好。
如果将来有录音软件支持 GSIF 2 ,那就跟 ASIO 有一拼了。
厂家与用户的问答原话:

Both. Plus overall system load. Plus - very important - the behaviour of
the operating system. As long as Windows internal scheduler uses what we
call a 1 ms time frame, lower latencies, or more stable lower latencies
are unlikely to happen - talking about ASIO. Note that there already
exist two ways to achieve low latencies more stable. The best one seems
to be GSIF 2 at this time. It does audio deep down in the kernel, and
won't be interrupted by other tasks.
Talking about latency you shouldn't forget that AD and DA conversion
adds 1 ms both to your record and playback side. No way to get rid of
these.
