Fender 40th Anniversary Diamond Edition Stratocaster

Here we have the fantastic Fender Custom Shop Diamond Edition 40th Anniversary Stratocaster. Wow, this has to seen to be believed. This is one of the best guitars that I have seen in awhile. This Strat is numbered 024 of 150 on the back of the headstock. The face of the headstock has the Gold raised Fender Stratocaster decals and Gold 40th decal above the raised V logo with a Diamond inlaid on it. The neck and fingerboard are nicely Birdseyed, the body is highly grained Ash with a 3D flamed Maple top. The Gold pickguard is highly engraved, a true work of art. The fingerboard dots are Abalone and there is a very cool Pearl and Abalone 1954/1994 inlay at the 12th fret. All hardware is Gold plated, even the pickup pole pieces! All the goodies are there, the Custom Shop V logo Diamond ring, all the certificates and books, the Gold trem arm, cable, the hand tooled 40th Anniversary Strap along with the extra Gold Schaller strap buttons, the polishing cloth, Flight case and gig bag. The gig bag is black instead of the tweed that normally comes with the guitar. This came from a large collection and that is the way we got it in. Excellent near mint condition, there is some light wear on the pickguard and some very light marks on the clear that may buff out. The previous collector owner did play it, it just begs to be played. This guitar will make a great addition to any collection.
I have a 1996 50th Anniversary Diamond Relic up for sale as well, that would make a nice pair!
