      The K2600 could address a maximum 2G(gigabytes) of space on a SCSI hard disk. Although you could format a disk of any size for use with the K2600, only the first partition-up to 2G—would be available to the K2600.


      The K2600 can now address up to 8G of hard-disk space, in 2-Gpartitions. This is true for any hard disk formatted with the DOS-compatible FAT-16 format. Hard disks larger than 8 G can be formatted to make 8G (in four partitions) accessible to the K2600.


    我想问的就是：如果买一块18G的SCSI硬盘挂上去，能用多少G？

上文说了：K2600对于SCSI硬盘来说可以使用最大2G的字节容量。即使你为了使用K2600格式化了任何容量大小的硬盘，但是只有第一分区的2G大小才有效。

对于普通硬盘可以使用8个G的大小，在每2G的分区情况下。对于DOS兼容 FAT-16分区格式的硬盘是有效的。硬盘容量大于8G的可以被格式化为8G（4个分区）。
