Envy24HT0.8.0.dmg (version 0.8.0 BETA!)
This version adds output mute controls to Phase 22, Revo 5.1, Revo 7.1 and ESI Juli@. You can use the Mac keyboard numerical keypad to mute the sound.
Envy24HT0.7.0.dmg (version 0.7.0 BETA!)
This version adds output volume and input gain controls for the Revolution 5.1.
Older versions:
Envy24HT0.6.0.dmg (version 0.6.0 BETA!)
This version adds output volume controls for the Revolution 7.1. Note that the ADC has no gain controls.
Envy24HT0.5.0.dmg (version 0.5.0 BETA!)
Version 0.5.0 adds input gain and volume controls to the Phase22. I may have messed up the Juli@ output controls, please let me know if they still work!

Envy24The following sound cards are supported by the Envy24 driver:
- M-Audio Delta 44 (verified)
- M-Audio Delta 66 (verified)
- M-Audio Delta 410 (verified)
- M-Audio Delta 2496 (verified)
- M-Audio Delta 1010 (works for some)
- M-Audio Delta 1010LT (verified)
- Terratec Phase 88 / EWS88MT / TS88PCI (tested only on EWS88MT)
- Terratec EWX2496
Cards that aren't listed are now handled as 'generic' and will probably not work! You can download the latest version here:
Envy24.0.20.0.dmg (version 0.20.0 BETA!)
Turned off zero-latency monitoring which fixes the problems with stereo being messed up.
Envy24.0.19.0.dmg (version 0.19.0 BETA!)
EWS88MT is now working. Only tested output 1-2.
This version also routes the analogue inputs 1-2 to analogue outputs 1-2 for zero-latency monitoring. This may not be what you want. Let me know what you think. Unfortunately I don't have time to make a full-blown M-Audio-like control panel to set monitoring volume etc.!
Envy24.0.17.0.dmg (version 0.17.0 BETA!)
Adds digital output support for the Delta 66. Older versions:
Envy24.0.16.0.dmg (version 0.16.0 BETA!)
Adds support for the Delta 410 including output volume controls. The codec does not have input gain controls, so there aren't any input controls in Audio/MIDI setup.
This version also changes the 32-bit indication in Audio/MIDI setup to 24-bit and adds a 16-bit format. Note that this doesn't affect quality whatsoever since samples arrive in 32-bit floating point and are always converted to 32/24-bit. The reason for the 16-bit format addition is that some people complained about certain apps requiring 16-bit output. Perhaps this helps.
Envy24.0.14.0.dmg (version 0.14.0 BETA!)
This version will allocate memory regardless of the 256MB memory limit if the first attempt to allocate memory within the first 256MB of address space failed. Therefore, this may result in a crash or no playback at all. Use at your own risk.
Envy24.0.13.0.dmg (version 0.13.0 BETA!)
This version restores the buffer size back to 4096 again, makes sure that the lowest possible volume (like -48.5dB) is actually a full mute and might possibly work under OSX10.4!
You can change volume in 'Audio MIDI Setup' in Utilities.
The cards that are not verified may or may not work. Let me know if they do!

Removing a driverIf you want to remove the driver, you have to unload the kext (twice) and remove the directory where the kext is located. Open the terminal and type (copy/paste from here) the following:
For the Envy24:
sudo kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/Envy24PCIAudioDriver.kext > /dev/null
sudo kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/Envy24PCIAudioDriver.kext > /dev/null
sudo rm -R /System/Library/Extensions/Envy24PCIAudioDriver.kext
For the Envy24HT:
sudo kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/Envy24HTPCIAudioDriver.kext > /dev/null
sudo kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/Envy24HTPCIAudioDriver.kext > /dev/null
sudo rm -R /System/Library/Extensions/Envy24HTPCIAudioDriver.kext
