Supporting the Mac OS X “Snow Leopard” platform is a top priority for Tascam.
All current audio interfaces have been tested OK for use with Mac OS X 10.6 “Snow Leopard”. Thus, US-122L/US-122MKII, US-144/US-144MKII, US-1641, US-2000, FW-1082 and FW-1884 are certified as being fully functional with the 32-bit mode of Apple's latest operating system. 64-bit support will be announced at a later date.
Important Note: If a 32-bit version of Mac OS X 10.6 is installed on a computer supporting 64-bit operation (i. e. Core2Duo, Xeon and Nehalem processors), a Tascam interface will only be available on DAW applications having their own interface selection (Cubase, Logic, Garageband, etc.).This restriction will be abolished through the new drivers announced.
