INTERVAL
Interval isn’t quite like anything else you've played. It is an instrument which „has real life and breath“ as composer Theodore Shapiro said. Inspired by contemporary compositions Interval pursues a new approach into building sounds. It is hard to explain, but in the broadest sense, it is an instrument for building inspiring pads, organic atmospheres as well as creative arpeggios. You can do things with it you can’t do with anything else.
BONUS: INTIMATE PIANO
In addition to that you get - as a bonus - the Intimate Piano which fits very well to the strings. Intimate Piano is a completely new recorded set of samples of our beloved Zeitter & Winkelmann upright piano. We recorded the piano with two different sets of mics.
One version was recorded with a pair of condesnser mics in the floor area of the piano and the other was done by a field recorder lying on the ground of the it. We have restricted ourselves to record just a very low and gentle velocity level of the piano. This kind of playing along with the unique recording setting results into its charming, warm and intmate sound.
Finally we added some EQ options, a reverb and furtherly the option to mix some string or pot fx noise to the piano which let's it quickly sound very artificial and experimental. Intimate Piano is simple but very expressive! For more details please read the Intimate Piano manual.
