Aria Sounds has announced the release of Silk, a Fazioli concert grand piano library for Native Instruments Kontakt.
Aria Sounds are proud to present their latest sampled instrument – Silk – a concert grand Fazioli piano, captured in all it’s sonic glory.
The Fazioli is one of the most sought after and prestigious pianos in the world, with an absolutely unique sound, and the most beautiful crystal-clear low end.
We aimed to capture both this, and the rest of the amazing range of sound the piano has to offer, making sure to also record it’s enourmous dynamic range, which resulted in dynamic layers up to 76 in this instrument. There are two available, mixable mic positions – close, and stage, to create your desired sound.
Silk features
Extensively sampled Fazioli concert grand piano.
Up to 76 velocity layers per note (average of 35 velocity layers per note).
Close and stage mic positions.
24-bit/96kHz samples.
Using .ncw compression, 15.8GB of WAV samples compressed to just below 6GB.
