從 uad forum 看到, 看來很多人遇到這問題:-
A customer just sent us some information that I thought might be helpful to people here. Please excuse me if this has already been covered in the past:
"I thought I would pass this information on as I have spent hours trying different configurations and eventually took out the extra 2 Gb of RAM (As advised by Universal Audio) otherwise the 3rd and 4th UAD-1\'s won\'t work. However there is a command line that must be inserted in the Boot.ini file in the Root directory which fixes the problem and allows 4Gb of RAM and 4 UAD-1 Cards simultaneously. The last Command /Userva=2900 is the critical one along with the /3GB of RAM switch otherwise your PC will only see 2.2Gb even with the 3GB switch you only see 3.2Gb but it\'s better than 2.2Gb.
Here is an example of my Boot.ini file
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\\WINDOWS=\"Microsoft Windows XP Professional\" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect /noguiboot /3GB /Userva=2900
Please pass this info on to your UAD-1 Clients .
Thanks to MBR Studios for invaluable input
Thanks and Regards
Dean Brewer
