Simply unbelievable. Like the name says, no two in this 12-instrument limited-edition run of the ’50s Stratocaster Relic LTD guitar with custom art by Shepard Fairey are alike!
This Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition beauty has been given the full-on “Relic” treatment to show years of natural wear and tear—nicks, scratches, worn finish, rusty nickel/chrome hardware, “distressed” aluminum pickguard and aged plastic parts. The premium ash body has a nitrocellulose lacquer finish, and the 10/56 “boat”-shaped maple neck has a 7.25”-radius maple fingerboard with 21 vintage-style frets. All that, plus three Fender Custom Shop Fat ‘50s single-coil Strat pickups, an American Vintage synchronized tremolo and Fender/Gotoh® vintage-style tuning machines.

1956 Stratocaster® Relic® Desert Sand LTD 927-5000-168
The Fender Custom Shop introduces a limited run of 100 of these stunning 1956 Stratocaster Relic Desert Sand LTD guitars. With all-original detailing, they’re built using original tooling and are heavily “relic-ed” to show years of natural wear and tear—nicks, scratches, worn finish, rusty hardware and aged plastic parts.
The alder body has a nitrocellulose lacquer finish and gold anodized aluminum pickguard. The one-piece, ’57-style soft V-shaped tinted maple neck has a 9.5”-radius maple fingerboard with 21 medium-jumbo frets. There are three custom ’50s single-coil Strat pickups; the middle pickup is reverse wound/reverse polarity for hum canceling in switch positions 2 and 4. Other features include narrow dot spacing, gold hardware, Fender/Gotoh® vintage-style tuning machines and an American Vintage synchronized tremolo with “ashtray” bridge cover.

The Fender Custom Shop introduces a Master-built limited run of 100 of these brilliant 1969 Strat NOS Psychedelic Graphic LTD guitars with custom art by Pamelina, no two of which will be alike.
The guitars are given our “New Old Stock” (NOS) treatment—built (from original tooling) as if bought new in its respective model year and just found today. The two-piece select alder body has a urethane finish and three-ply white pickguard. The U-shaped maple neck has a 9.5”-radius round-laminated maple fingerboard with 21 medium-jumbo frets, a bone nut and Pearloid side dot position markers, topped by a large ’60s-style headstock. Other features include three Custom ’69 single-coil Strat pickups, nickel/chrome hardware, Fender/Schaller® vintage “F”-style tuning machines, American Vintage synchronized tremolo and limited edition certificate.
