Barefoot Sound is proud to introduce the MicroMain26. Based on the enowned MicroMain27 Gen2 platform, the MM26 raises the performance to new highs with the addition of our incredibly transparent and revealing 2.5" aluminum cone midrange. The MicroMain26 delivers everything the MM27 is famous for and pushes even further the boundaries of what a studio monitor can achieve!

The MicroMain26 is a 4-way active system with 6 drive units housed in sealed enclosures spanning 30Hz to 45kHz with vanishingly low distortion, breathtaking dynamic range and ultra-fast transient response. The ring radiator tweeter is incredibly articulate and produces very wide dispersion out to its highest frequencies. The 2.5” aluminum cone midrange is housed in a cutting edge 3D printed waveguide enclosure. The midrange driver features all the latest distortion reduction technology. Here are just a few of its features: aerodynamic aluminum basket frame designed to minimize internal reflection as well as wick heat from the motor, wide linear Bl magnetic gap geometry, powerful neodymium magnet, copper shorting rings reduce modulation distortion, and the aluminum cone has perfect piston behavior out to 2.5 octaves beyond its highest frequency range. The net result is such transparent, present and revealing midrange your jaw will drop! The same 5.25″ woofers used in the MM27 feature their own a phalanx of advanced technology, yielding upper bass and lower midrange detail that rivals any driver on the planet. And of course, the MM26 shares that massive Dual-Force(tm) 10" subwoofer that give the MM27 its amazing "dial it in like the midrange" low end performance.
The MM26 also shares all the amplifier, signal processing and MEME(tm) greatness of the MM27. Its new rear layout, however, pulls the amplifier out of the subwoofer cavity providing extra heat dissipation without adding any extra overall depth to the speaker. The cabinet stands on two highly engineered and beautifully sculpted legs. The 3D printed legs are made of a nylon-aluminum composite material and filled with vibration damping compound. The MicroMain26 is truly one of the most technologically advanced speakers ever built!
