Dear UAD User -
We've encountered a software bug that has come to the forefront with the recent release of UAD software v9.12, featuring the new Neve 1084 plug‑in.
Specifically, the software bug affects certain macOS Catalina and Mojave users, and results in UAD plug‑in(s) being disabled, displaying the following error message:
"UAD [plug‑in name] cannot be authorized. One or more UAD devices is incompatible with this version of UAD Powered Plug‑Ins software."
Please note that not all macOS users will experience this issue. If you haven't seen the error message above, you can disregard this email.
For those experiencing this issue, you can boot your Mac into Recovery Mode, and perform the workaround as noted here. We will be issuing a UAD software fix next week.
