Free alternative to Trackspacer. A frequency-dependent sidechain compressor - it frees up headroom in the main signal for a specific track.
Two engines:
- Multiband - 32-band filter bank, zero added latency (the original mode)
- Spectral (FFT) - sharper, cleaner carving and lighter on CPU, at the cost of 1024-8192 samples of latency depending on the Resolution setting
Controls:
- Threshold and effect Amount
- Smooth - merges the 32 bands down to as few as 8
- Curve - biases the active bands toward the top of the spectrum
- Sidechain low-cut / high-cut filters, 6-72 dB/oct
- Attack / Release, with Tilt - up to 8x faster on the top band than the bottom (highs react quicker, lows slower)
- Internal sidechain on/off - switch it off to duck the signal against itself
- Independent M/S or L/R processing, with Link and Balance
- Delta and sidechain Listen monitoring
- Resizable, scalable UI
