Carlos Santana has been using K&M amps on tour since the debut of the Grammy winning album Supernatural. The amps have been traveling around the world with the Santana band and continue to rock.
K & M Analog Designs amplifiers are the brainchild of Bill Krinard and Joe Mloganoski. Both have long histories in music, sound, and electronic design. Their search for the best sounding guitar amplifier started by listening, playing and tweaking many of the fine production tube amplifiers of the last 60 years.
These pursuits started on the east coast for Joe when he began playing seriously back in the Boston area. After making his way to the left coast he continued playing music for a variety of bands, always looking for that elusive killer guitar tone. He delved heavily into electronics, opening his own electronic repair business for 13 years before his true passion for music, guitars and tube amps led him to team with Bill, to design the best sounding guitar amps in the world.
Bill Krinard has been involved in tube amp technology for the past 26 years. During this time he has designed hi-fi tube amps and has spent countless hours tweaking production guitar amps. His extensive knowledge of construction techniques and huge reservoir of tone secrets is unsurpassed. Already known locally as the tube-amp guru, the design and production of K&M amps has launched Bill and Joe to the forefront of boutique guitar amplication.
