For reasons we’ll give in a minute, we’ve decided to take Mural 1, 2, 3, Ensembles & Evolutions off our shelves in their current form. To celebrate their award winning success and to give everyone one last opportunity to enjoy this modular set of tools we’re going to be offering ALL volumes at a discount of a massive 47% whilst also putting Symphonic Evolutions on sale as a standalone library for the first and last time.
What ISN’T in Spitfire Symphonic Strings that is in Mural?
Frankly the tons of mic positions and stereo mixes. We’ve listened to many of you and it is simply the case that not all of you want, use or have space and a download capability for all these additional mics and mixes. So Spitfire Symphonic Strings contains three diverse sounding mics (Close, Tree, Ambient) which allow Symphonic Strings to be used on a variety of uses from expansive tight modern action music to sweeping romanticism.
More importantly, the structural file complications of Mural are no longer in Spitfire Symphonic Strings, so maintaining and upgrading it will become a thing of pleasure not of pain!
What IS in Spitfire Symphonic Strings that isn’t in Mural?
Spitfire Symphonic Strings is now a Kontakt Player library which you can access from your library pane. It has a simplified folder architecture that offers accessibility to newbies and intuitive ease of use and convenience for veterans.
We’re proud to announce that Spitfire Symphonic Strings will ship with Native Control Standard offering ease of use with Native Instruments’ excellent keyboard controllers.

Whilst we pride ourselves on the quality of our wares, Mural has been an increasingly complicated beast to maintain. So we’ve given it a spring clean, safe in the knowledge that the update now is a simple ‘start from scratch’ ensuring you all get the product we want you to have!

It’s a rationalisation of all our existing symphonic brass libraries plus MASSES of new content, creating a new, simpler and more fully featured all-in-one Symphonic Brass package.
Includes French Horns, Trumpets, Tenor and Bass Trombones, Cimbassi and Tuba, played by some of the world’s best musicians, recorded in The Hall at Air Studios.
What’s in it?
This new library combines all of our existing “British Modular Library” range brass libraries: BML Horns, BML Trumpet Corps, BML Bones and BML Low Brass plus the epic BML Trumpet Phalanx, BML Bones Phalanx and BML Horns Phalanx.
Is that it?
No! In addition to ALL the existing content, we’ve added in THREE completely new instruments (solo tenor and bass trombones plus contrabass tuba), plus a large number of additional articulations across all the instruments. See the product page for the full list. It’s also an NKS compatible, Kontakt Player library with a new, more intuitive GUI (with inline help).

It’s a rationalisation of all our existing symphonic woodwind libraries plus MASSES of new content, creating a new, simpler and more fully featured all-in-one Symphonic Woodwinds package.
It includes piccolo, flute, alto flute, bass flute, oboe, cor anglais, clarinet, bass clarinet, contrabass clarinet, bassoon and contrabassoon, played by some of the world’s best musicians, recorded in The Hall at Air Studios, London.
What’s in it?
This new library combines all of our “British Modular Library” range woodwind libraries: BML Flute Consort, BML Additional Flutes, BML Reeds, BML Low Winds and BML Low Reeds.
Is that it?
No! In addition to all the existing content, we’ve added in a large number of additional articulations across most of the instruments (totalling an additional 30% more content). See the product page for the full list. It’s also an NKS Ready Kontakt Player library with a new, more intuitive GUI (with inline help).
