在sonar forum 看到一個blindtest, 一首曲分別在 sonar, vegas 和sawstudio 混, 沒有加載效果, 音量和pan的參數是一樣。然後安排了六位朋友聽三次, 每次歌曲次序不同。結果如下:-
1) 三位朋友在三次中都選sawstudio
2) 一位朋友兩次選sonar,一次選vegas
3) 二位朋友三次也選不同的結果

這位發貼的朋友最喜歡也是sawstudio, 但最後因價錢和midi功能問題, 決定買sonar去,當然,他也認為sonar的音質也不錯。

I do appreciate the discussion, I learn alot from this as well as other forums.
Part of the reason I purchased Sonar 3 was the amount of information and help
that is available on this forum. I hope that I can be of help to others here
in the future as many on this forum have helped me with the information
they have posted. Just interjecting a little light hearted humor.

That being said, I did have a chance to compare several software apps
before buying Sonar using the same wavs in each program.
The song was mixed in sonar -vegas-and sawstudio ( no effects added-no eq added, panning and volume set the same)
I then had 6 people listen to the final mix from each program 3 times (not knowing which program each mix was from and putting them in different order each time)
Result:
3 people picked Sawstudio every time
1 picked sonar twice and vegas once
2 picked a different one each time
I personally liked Saw the best, each instrument stood out very well in the mix but I was leary of investing that much money in Saw because the company doesn't seem very stable. The mix from each of the other apps sounded good as well, but for me Sonar had a lot more to offer for the money and I am very pleased with the results I am getting.

可惜我英文不好,没法去学习,不过himhui 兄这儿的说明已经足够一般应用了.这个软件我觉得不算复杂.

刚注意到这个帖子。开始学习。配置不好的电脑有福了。

Softedge 概念做的 crossfade 簡直一絕! 未試還以為有什麼了不起, 心想...crossfade 都一樣罷, 怎知,隨隨便便一試便可完成一個完美而流暢的 crossfade。還可一次過在所有軌道加上。
Softedge 就是將邊緣淡化, 可淡入,可淡出。它是完全 non-destructive非破壞性, 一般軟件的crossfade 都會在重疊的地方生成一個臨時檔, 而sawstudio則以softedge的純計算方式以實時-6db向上或向下達成一個或多個重疊事件的漸変, 減少重疊檔邊緣造成同步時的複雜性, 無形中亦減少資源消耗。

當我們在軌道上按 alt+右鍵 , 會看到以下的方塊, 若選 set softedge, 會看到

1) start / end / both   2) start splice / end splice / both splices   3) marked area

start >事件開始

end > 事件完結

both > 事件開始 + 事件完結

好, 我們就選 start, 它會彈出一個窗口, 填上softedge 時間 0-99,999ms




再選 end...

2) start splice / end splice / both splices   

當兩個事件緊接,指針在後面的事件作第一身, 選start splice, 填入softedge時間 (若選end, 是fade out)

當兩個事件緊接,指針在前面的事件作第一身, 選both splices, 填入softedge時間

3) to marked area

當兩個事件緊接,指針在前面的事件作第一身, 選 to marked area , crossfade 便由指標線作定位建立。若以後面事件為主體, 便只會建立 fade out。
