I bought it to replace my motu 828 mk1 and I also have a Rme firef他感覺24D的聲音較豐富。ace 800 in my studio and an Mbox2. I only tried it on one location recording hooked up to my Macbook pro and everything worked great. Hotplugging and all .. and I feel it sounds richer than the Fireface.. this is just a feeling no side by side testing yet.
My only slight complaint was that the headphone output was a bit weak.

OK, it's been a while and I did finally recieve my Konnekt, and have been very lucky with my choice. RME might have good a good reputation, but it's the addded fx which swung me. I plan to have guests helping with some singing, and using the konnekt enables me to feed them with sweet compression and reverb, without ANY cpu hit. Of course I can simultaneously arm 3 tracks in logic using 3 different konnekt inputs, and record a dry signal, just the reverb, or just the compressed. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the converters are on par with the RME stuff too, just not the price. Bought mine for £338 inv vat.
