- Working crack for 64-bit Windows version only. Some testing needed. Usually error free (in case of error press cancel if wanted, there are no continuous errors anyway).
- Has some stability patches applied, which also do make it quite stable at export audio.
- recommended deleting or renaming temporarily possible earlier and Cubase7_64 Cubase version preferences before first launch in "C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg"
- uninstall previous version if there is one
- uninstall Steinberg Eucon adapter, if one is installed, or if one is needed check if Cubase launches with adapter installed
- can propably be used without elicenser control center installed also, but throws SYNSOACC.DLL not found errors at startup for example
0. Install Elicenser control center if it has not been installed already from elicenser site
1. Install Cubase 7.0.5 with provided Cubase7_64bit.msi and if wanted install provided UploadManager.msi (in ca705Installer.zip)
2. Replace Cubase 7 executable in C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 7 folder with patched Cubase 7 executable (in ca705Patch.zip)
3. Delete or rename Cubase 7/VST3 folder
4. Delete or rename Cubase 7/VSTPlugins folder, can also try it without this step, but it might affect stability
5. Disconnect possible Steinberg USB-Elicensers, if they contain Cubase expired/current trials or full versions, they might prevent Cubase startup, and those dongles can be connected to computer after Cubase has been loaded also if there are plugin licenses needed. Soft-Elicensers work normally.
6. Start Cubase 7 and select Cubase Artist
7. Disable steinberg hub in preferences/general
- workaround needed: start with empty project, then load desired project without activating it. Then when it is loaded activate it from top left corner. This way large projects loads always.
- second workaround: do not create for example 32 tracks at once, create at most 7 at once per one time
- instead freezing tracks export audio to project should be used as freeze track is generally not stable.
- when exporting audio it helps to use unique filename instead of overwrite file, and doing one channel exports instead of full mix at a time. If one export gets stuck at some percent, after restarting app exports should work ok.
- generates error if note expression panel is accessed and if in chord definition screen 2. and 3. column is accessed, so do input chord type from MIDI keyboard or from Cubase virtual keyboard
- not unlocked: for example EQ, phase, pre-gain in MixConsole and channel strip FX, so use own quality VST3 plugins for those
- 32-bit bridge works after first launch, and letting VSTBridge app through Windows firewall when it asks it
- Cubase is portable, so copying folder from one OS to another OS works as long as elicenser control center is installed
