Digidesign你好,我有个问题。。。
做后期时会有不同的视频来源,有模拟beta,有数字beta,有DVCpro,有DVCAM。如果我采用您推荐的Protools+DVtoolkit方案。。。也就是先把视频采集到Protools Session里面,完成音频后,还是要把音频回吐到源视频磁带中啊,导演们肯定不会同意用采集后的DV视频转模拟用来播出吧!这样就还是有个同步回放音频到视频磁带的问题,不知道怎样解决,请指示啊?不用黑场发生器,只用MOTU的同步器行吗?

这是Digidesign工程师的原话,请自己先看看,如果没有什么问题我就不转成中文了。
When working in post production, all the editing is done by using timecode locations. This is measured in hours:minutes:seconds:frames. Normally, ProTools LE does not support timecode locations, it only supports actual time, bars and beats (for music), or audio sample count. The DV Toolkit gives ProTools LE the ability to use timecode locations and it also adds some other functions that are useful for post production.

ProTools LE with DV Toolkit is designed to work with Desktop Video editing applications like Avid Xpress DV http://www.avid.com/products/xpressdv/. In this case, you would import your video to Avid Xpress DV through the IEEE-1394 (FireWire) port on your PC and do your video editing with Xpress DV. Then you would import the project as an OMF file to ProTools LE to do your audio editing. When you were done you would import the new OMF file back to Xpress DV and then send it back out to your video recorder through the FireWire port. Since you are working with digital audio and video files you do not need to worry about black burst or sync because everything is synchronized by the computer. Even though Desktop Video is not considered "professional", the quality is very good and most people can't tell the difference.

Working with Desktop Video is not quite the same as traditional post production as used by large television or film studios. In this case you would have separate machines dedicated to working with either video or audio. The quality of the video is usually better in this situation. In this case, the machines are syncronized by using timecode and black burst (known as "house sync" or just "sync"). Timecode is used to tell the two systems where they are in the program and sync is used to keep them running at the same speed. The video machine is usally the master and the audio machine is the slave. When you rewind the video tape machine and start playing, it will put out timecode. This timecode is read by the audio machine and it will start playing along with the video machine. Timecode gives it the location reference and sync gives it the speed reference. In order to work in this way you need to have ProTools TDM with a SYNC I/O. ProTools LE does not support these functions. The SYNC I/O box is a device that can read and write timecode and it can lock to video sync. This allows ProTools LE to stay in sync when transferring to and from video. If the final product is a movie then the final transfer will be to film instead of video tape.

It is possible to do all your audio editing in ProTools LE and then transfer the finished audio to a ProTools TDM system with a SYNC I/O and use that to tranfer the audio back to video. The audio quality of ProTools LE is just as good as ProTools TDM so you would be able to do high quality work without spending a lot of time in an expensive studio. You would only need a small amount of time with the expensive equipment to do the final transfer back to the master tape. That is how some of our customers work. They have one expensive system to do the transfer to and from the master tape and they have many less expensive systems used by their editors to do their work.

1) DigiTranslator is a part of DV Toolkit so when you buy DV Toolkit you will use DigiTranslator to import OMF files.
2) I'm not 100% certain, but you should be able to import an OMF file exported by Nuendo. OMF is a standard file type that was designed for the purpose of sharing information between different digital audio applications.

你的问题很奇怪,为什么要把画面吐回去?你作的是后期,也就是说,画面的剪接工作全部完成了。在你完成录音工作以后,直接把声音吐回去就ok了。至于同步,用motu就完全可以了。一点问题都没有。因为,beta和数字beta的timecode与我们做音乐的时候用的smpte是完全一样的。

你的问题很奇怪,为什么要把画面吐回去?你作的是后期,也就是说,画面的剪接工作全部完成了。在你完成录音工作以后,直接把声音吐回去就ok了。至于同步,用motu就完全可以了。一点问题都没有。因为,beta和数字beta的timecode与我们做音乐的时候用的smpte是完全一样的。

这话一点不错。

首先非常感谢Digidesign老师的指点。
当然还有KingHand老师,我说的意思也是往回吐音频,只不过担心的是音频和原画面的同步问题,尤其是当节目时间在30分钟以上的时候。不知道KingHand老师做这类节目的时候是怎么搞定的,能否给在下说说您具体都用什么设备?操作方法?谢谢!!

smpte时间玛好像只能精确到40分钟以内,超出就不能保证准确了,不知马头AV可不可以冲破束缚?

我記得要鎖住影像的時間碼光有SMPTE是不夠的,
好像還需要一根同軸電纜線的什麼訊號鎖住Video的訊號??
