UAD-1 Powered Plug-Ins

A variety of effect preset and bank files for UAD-1 Powered Plug-Ins are included in this folder. These files can be loaded into the UAD-1 Powered Plug-Ins from within the plugin window of the host application.
To use the presets or banks, first copy the UAD-1 Presets folder to any location on your hard drive. Then navigate to the folder from the "Load Effect" (Cubase/Nuendo) or "Load Setting" (Logic Audio) menu that is located within the plugin window of the host application.

- The UAD DreamVerb folder contains presets that are not included in the default factory bank. These presets are arranged by category; each category is contained within subfolders. Also included is a folder of banks. These banks contain the presets within each catagory, as well as the default DreamVerb bank. A list of these presets (DreamVerb Presets.pdf) is included at the root of the UAD DreamVerb presets folder.
- When the Save/Load buttons within the DreamVerb GUI are used, the standard file dialog points to the default preset installation path for your convenience. See page 149 of the UAD-1 Powered Plug-Ins Manual (UADManual.pdf v3.2) for more information.
- The UAD RealVerb-Pro folder contains hall & ambience, instrument, plate & spring, room, special effect, and user presets that are not included in the factory bank as well as the factory preset bank file.
Logic Audio users:
- Selecting "Load Setting" from a plugin window always opens to the "Plug-In Settings" folder within the Logic Audio program folder. If you use Logic Audio, for ease of use we recommend copying or making an alias of the UAD Presets folders to the Plug-In Settings folder within the Logic Audio program folder. On a PC, this folder is usually located at C:\Program Files\emagic\Logic Audio Platinum\Plug-In Settings.
- Logic saves plugin settings in a propretary format that is only usable in Logic. However, Logic can load our VST presets and banks.
- The Logic settings file saves the entire bank for plugins that have more than one preset (such as DreamVerb, RealVerb Pro, and Nigel).
DirectX users:
- To load a preset or preset bank in Direct X applications, click the 'Tools...' button on the UAD plug-in window title bar and select 'Load Preset.../Load Bank...' respectively.
