This release is a mix of Alpha and Beta features. We do this to give you early access and provide feedback before development is locked down! If you have a suggestion how something could work better. Now is the time to make it.
Expect to be chastised if you complain this release is unstable or buggy! If bugs annoy you, please stop here and go do something else.
Do not use Alphas / Betas for mission critical projects. This release is far from final and will change significantly before it is ready.
By default this will install in parallel to your current FL Studio location/s.
Betas will expire! A replacement Beta may not be ready when it does.
NOTE: Please be on the lookout for issues with samples not being found loading previously good projects and issues surrounding Audio Clip envelope editing.

KNOWN ISSUES
Settings tabs are temporary! (WIP) Don't complain.
Theme control is experimental (because we only recently created this user control panel and it is a WIP):
Presets - There are none. There will be, but for now, make your own.
The 'Text' knob - Will go from black to white in the next release. Now it sort of meanders strangely from dark to light and something in-between.
Colors / Brightness - Track routing links and other UI elements may look strange with certain settings. Just post a screenshot of any bizarre things you notice.
About knobs - They are intentionally sluggish, due to the amount of variables they change, just move them slowly.
Themes (experimental) - Look under General Settings > Miscellaneous > Theme. Presets live in ... Documents\Image-Line\FL Studio\Settings\Themes
Project files - Added 'Always ask' to the data folder section under 'Projects general settings' that opens a 'New project' window, optionally shown, when a new project is created or saved.
Settings window (in dev) - The window has been redesigned to allow long localized text and later search, but not yet! Also allows adjust the height of the settings window so it fits on screens with a low vertical resolution.
Alternate Undo - Now on by default when installing on a new computer.
Type in value - More information about current value is shown when selected.
Add instrument track menu [+] - No longer shows items that can't be added as instrument tracks.
Piano roll - The selected Channel is opened when Double-Clicking on an empty Pattern Clip.
Channel Button (Right-Click menu) - New 'Patcherize' item load the Channel's plugin in Patcher.
Channel Rack - Now scrolls when moving a channel outside of the visible range.
Mixer - The window no longer automatically opens when a new audio or instrument track is created.
New from template - Menu updates when templates are added and removed.
New Tool
VFX Sequencer - A pattern arpeggiator and step sequencer designed to be used in Patcher to send note sequences to connected instrument plugins.
New & Updated Plugins
Maximus - Grid lines and labels are more visible enough.
Vintage Chorus - Added context aware type-in value support.
Vintage Phaser - Added noise gate parameter and control. The order of the plugin's parameter has changed (automations will be affected!)
Presets that use HUD Text can now locate fonts outside the font folder.
New audio generator effect (Windows only)
Browser:
New option to remember individual Tab sizes.
Folder icon in search field to restrict found items to the current folder only.
Multiple selection of items (inc. Shift+Click and Alt+Ctrl+Click)
'Type to filter' menu option to decide if typing a letter filters or selects items.
Improved search speed and lower memory usage.
History folder items sorted from old to new (again).
Select the first folder when searching in views with mlisttiple columns.
Show images as soon as they are downloaded.
Show more information about plugins in the plugin database.
Start playback from the cursor position on Right-Click.
Playlist:
Audio Clip Fades - Edit ] 'Automatic crossfades' in the Playlist menu is now saved with the project file. Fade editing mode is now enabled by default, when installing on a new computer.
MIDI scripting & MIDI:
Scripting - getPerformanceModeState function. New functions to add links to controllers
MIDI Controllers - Identification of MIDI devices is now delayed until scripts have been downloaded a first time
