Possibly an effect that has more inputs than it has outputs...relatively common if the plugin has separate sidechain inputs. I have to special-case my plugins to not show the sidechain inputs when used in SAW/SAC.
They're not the only ones I have to do that for, so it's not like SAW's unique in that sense...just sayin'.
