Steinberg VB-1 Virtual Bass Synth VSTi
The VB 1 is a virtual bass instrument built on real-time physical modeling principles and offers a wide range of sounds. It is not only possible to create authentic bass sounds, but also other sorts of bass sounds like deep electro and acid bass synths.
There are controls for Volume and Wave Morph: this special Tone control selects the basic waveform that is used to drive the plucked string model. This parameter can drastically change the sound character. The damper controls the length of time the string vibrates after being plucked and you can freely adjust the pick-up position in order to change the tone. The pick position determines where along the length of the string the initial pluck is made. This controls the "roundness" of the tone.
