所有控制器里最喜欢 remote 系列的 automap 功能，竟然弃更，以后只能使用美奇的HUI协议
买SL系列的童鞋伤心了，尤其要为买了 SL MK III 的童鞋默哀

Automap End of Support
We will no longer update or support Automap with future operating system or software releases. Automap will still be available to use with currently supported operating systems.
Automap initially set out to let users control their software using real buttons, encoders and sliders. This was technically complex but Automap offered a unique way of connecting the hardware and software. Most major DAWs now have native solutions so any MIDI controller can have control over the software without the need for an additional third-party application like Automap.
Controllers such as our SL MkIII and Launchkey keyboards have direct control of major DAWs via dedicated, native integration or the industry-standard HUI protocol.
We recommend that you uninstall prior to updating to Catalina as the uninstaller will not run on Catalina.
We have an update available for the Impulse which adds HUI support so you do not need to use Automap, you can read more about this here: What does the HUI update for the Impulse do?

我们将不再用未来的操作系统或软件版本更新或支持Automap。Automap仍然可以与当前支持的操作系统一起使用。

我们建议您在更新到Catalina之前卸载，因为卸载程序不会在Catalina上运行。

-改进了对Ableton、Cubase和Nuendo的支持
-在Windows上将USB音频驱动程序更新为最新版本
-将EULA更新至最新版本
细节：
-增加了对Ableton Live 10的支持
-添加了对cubase10的支持
-增加了对Nuendo 8的支持
-修正了cubase9.5的安装指南，显示了Windows上cubase9的安装指南
-将EULA更新为最新版本，删除第2.2条
-在Windows上将Novation USB音频驱动程序更新为最新版本（2.13）

當年推出時很轟動, 也有幾家想學.. 現在看 CUBASE 11 的思路, 似乎是廠商肯的話, 可以很簡單的讓硬件去做好類似的事.

cubase应该只能设置八个quick control对应音源跟插件
音源能用midi learn，
但是没办法像remote系列能自动切换最上层音源/插件，而且用LED显示参数名称
用普通没有led显示的控制器，无法记住每个效果器的对应设置

我指的是這一項, 像 Steinberg 把 API 放出來, 有心要搶 CUBASE 用戶的廠家就有機會了.
- New MIDI Remote System & API
We have created a MIDI Remote API which allows to develop MIDI Remote Scripts for dedicated devices. In a
nutshell, these scripts describe the layout and order of controls the device has to offer and include factory mappings
to parameters in Cubase.
With Beta 1 of Cubase 11 the new MIDI Remote system is now part of the application and allows 3rd party MIDI
Remote Device manufacturers to create support for their products in Cubase 11 and onwards. Our main intention
here is, to get you on-board in having a look at the API and by creating scripts for your specific devices of choice.
Please note: The API itself is in Alpha 2 state! Details may still change and can influence already written
scripts.

最直接的原因是automap不支持vst3和aax插件，特别是aax从原理上就没法支持
这种工作就应该由DAW来做。现在对Novation控制器支持最好的是Live，因为Live专门做了适配，不用automap也照样工作得很好
支持第二好的是Cakewalk，倒不是官方做得多好，主要是有人开发了第三方插件

之前看cubase11升级有加上增强MIDI的控制，但是升级后也不知道怎么个增强MIDI控制，感觉还是一样
